Well.......its Sunday night and tomorrow I will wake up to my first day as an unemployed Grown Up Teenager.
BTW......I'm nearly 56 years old....so lets take this one step at a time. Why unemployed?
Well.......because I've just given up my (senior management, well-paid, stressful) job. Why?
The official excuse is that I'm moving to Melbourne at the end of the year after 2 knee replacement operations that are scheduled for October. Why give up the job now then??
Because I knew that I was in the wrong place even though I could do the job....I just didn't want to....and it dawned on me at the beginning of this year that I shouldn't do things any longer that I didn't want to....regardless of the risks involved in "escaping"...
So...for the past 6 months I have been planning my "escape"................more tomorrow. Dr Who's starting!!
